Laid Off Workers From IBM to Get Hope

IBM is working with governmental officials in Dutchess County to assist those who will be affected by the layoffs the company will be experiencing. The layoff notice was given to the state Department of Labor to let the 697 workers know they will be without a job by September. Some assistance with re-training, financial planning and career counseling will be available for those laid off workers who need it.
