The US Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration will spend $15 million in stimulus funds to improve the water system of Adair County, Kentucky, creating 487 jobs.
The project will generate 15.2 million dollars in private investments for new businesses.
The county, with a population of 17,000, was severely impacted by a string of natural disasters in 2008. And it’s a dry county, so imagine how much that sucked.
What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
