United Community BankUnited Community Bank has cut 9% of its workforce, affecting 191 of the bank’s 1,900 employees.

Most of those affected were gone by March 1st.

United Community Bank is an $8.1 billion holding company that provides retail and corporate banking services. It was founded in 1950, and its headquarters are in Blairsville, Georgia. The company has over 100 banking offices in Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.
