Toshiba to Bring 194 Jobs to North Carolina

Church Falls, Virginia’s Toshiba America Nuclear Energy will open a project-management and engineering center in Charlotte, North Carolina, creating 194 jobs over five years.The positions are for trained nuclear engineers and construction managers. The average wage will be $122,000 a year. The center will open in August.
Toshiba will get a $4.9 million job development grant from the state.
Toshiba America Nuclear Energy is a subsidiary of Toshiba America, which builds nuclear reactors and provides services for nuclear power plants.
