Bristol-Myers Squibb Will Cut 100 in New York

Bristol-Myers Squibb will cut 100 jobs from its Syracuse, New York operations by the end of 2010.The pharmaceutical company is consolidating its Drug Safety Evaluation group with operations in Indiana and New Jersey.
The company employs 650 workers in East Syracuse.
New York City’s Bristol-Myers Squibb is a pharmaceutical corporation formed by a 1989 merger between Bristol-Myers Company, founded in 1887, and E.R. Squibb Corporation. It employs 43,000 globally.
