Reading Eagle Lays Off 52 Workers

Reading, Pennsylvania’s Reading Eagle newspaper has laid off 52 workers.The layoffs target 12% of the publisher’s work force. Details have yet to be released.
The Reading Eagle has published since 1868, and has a daily circulation of 60,000, with 80,000 on Sunday. It prides itself on having the “Biggest Comics Section in the Land.”
