Arkansas’ Sustainable Textile will invest $11 million in a new plant, bringing 223 jobs to China Grove, North Carolina over the next two years.
The firm will build the facility at a former HanesBrands plant. The jobs will pay an average of $30,000.
The state is giving Sustainable Textile a $300,000 cash incentive.
Sustainable Textile Group is an affiliate of Strateline Industries of Rogers, Arkansas. The company makes non-woven fabrics from regenerated cotton fibers. The fabric is used in items such as personal wipes and materials for the home furnishing, medical and automotive industries.
