Western Washington University to Cut 164 Jobs

Western Washington University will cut 164 jobs in the wake of state budget cuts.Twenty-five people will be laid off. Some workers will be moved to new jobs. The other positions will be left unfilled.
The school is also raising tuition.
Western Washington University in Bellingham is one of six state-funded, four-year universities of higher education in the US state of Washington. It offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
