Metal Technologies to Cut 215 Wisconsin Jobs

Metal Technologies will shut down its West Allis, Wisconsin ductile iron plant, laying off 215 people.

Layoffs begin at the end of July, and may include some members of the United Steelworkers.

Auburn, Indiana-based Metal Technologies produces high quality gray and ductile iron castings for a wide variety of industries. It has plants in Auburn; and Ravenna and Three Rivers, Michigan.
