Alabama Blue Cross Blue Shield to Cut Jobs

BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama is cutting jobs, specifically in human resources and claims departments.

Those affected by the layoffs will be notified June 15th. The number to be let go has not been released.

The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association is an American federation of 39 independent, community-based and locally operated Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance companies, in total covering over 100 million Americans.
