St. Joseph Health System Eliminating 160 Jobs

Orange County, California’s St. Joseph Health System is cutting 159 positions by mid-September.

The cuts will affect the system’s three hospitals — St. Joseph Hospital-Orange, St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, and Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo — plus the headquarters in Orange.

Those laid off will get severance pay, benefit assistance and continuation, and outplacement assistance.

St. Joseph’s employs 9,000 workers.
