AT&T Creating 200 Texas Jobs

AT&T will launch a technical support center in San Antonio, Texas next year, creating 200 jobs for technical service representatives and managers.The call center will serve customers of AT&T U-verse, the company’s broadband, voice and digital television service. AT&T has formed a partnership with the City of San Antonio and Alamo Colleges, to develop a training program for job recruits. The City of San Antonio is funding the training program.
AT&T is the largest provider of local, long distance telephone services in the United States, and also serves digital subscriber line Internet access. AT&T is the second largest provider of wireless service in the United States, with over 77 million wireless customers, and more than 150 million total customers.
