Massachusetts: Baystate Franklin Medical Center Cuts 51 Jobs

Baystate Franklin Medical Center, located in Greenfield, Massachusetts, is closing down two units and letting go of 51 employees in response to a $1.6 million operating loss. The substance abuse unit and outpatient behavioral health units will be closed.

Hospital officials are working with ServiceNet to ensure continuity in services provided to the community and say that many of the laid off workers will be able to find jobs with ServiceNet.
