Crown Battery Expanding Production and Creating 30 New Jobs in Ohio

Crown Battery, based in Freemont, Ohio, announced that it would expand its manufacturing capacity of SLI batteries by 30%. The expansion will be done by adding a fifth assembly line, working two ten hour shifts and creating 30 new jobs. High demand for batteries has been driven by electric vehicle production and other renewable energy applications, leading to increased sales for Crown.
