Layoff notices have been sent to 85 employees at the Wisconsin based Winnebago County Mental Health Institute. According to the institute, they are expecting a decrease in patients admitted throughout the next year, and in turn, will need less staff.
Earlier this year, the state decided that counties would be responsible for paying for mental health services.
According to Seth Boffeli, of the state Department of Health Services, more notices were sent out than will be needed so that employees are prepared. The first round of layoffs will take place on December 1.
What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
