Electrolux Creating 738 Jobs in North Carolina

With help from a grant from the One North Carolina Fund, appliance maker Electrolux is building a new North American headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company expects to create a minimum of 738 new jobs over the next five years as a result of the new facility. The announcement was made today by North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue.

Electrolux is a global leader in home and professional appliances whose products include refrigerators, freezers, washers and dryers, vacuum cleaners, dishwashers and cooking products sold primarily under the Electrolux, Frigidaire and Eureka brands in North America. The company is based out of Stockholm, Sweden, and employs 55,000 people globally.
