Spanish company Ingeteam, which makes wind turbine parts, is opening its first U.S. manufacturing plant in Milwaukee. The result will be hundreds of new jobs, Mayor Tom Barrett announced Monday during his State of the City address.
The facility will cost $15 million to construct and will produce equipment for renewable energy projects. The company expects to begin manufacturing operations in January 2011 and will employ about 275 workers by 2015.
When completed the plant will produce wind power generators and converters and solar power inverters for the North American market.
What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
