Officials in Ohio have awarded several tax credits for projects designed to create 1,200 jobs in the state. Among them is NC Works Inc., a startup manufacturer that plans to produce non-woven fabrics for automobile interior materials. The company, which expects to create 30 jobs, was awarded $75,000 in tax credits from the state.
Ohio awarded 14 other tax credits to new businesses and expansions. Among them was a $185,000 tax credit to 3S Inc to add 27 jobs; $110,000 to Ameridial Inc. for 170 new jobs; and a $1.3 million credit to Isofoton North America Inc. to create 250 new jobs.
