Rotate Black Inc., a Michigan-based gaming resort and development management group, signed a letter of intent to lease and develop six acres for a new casino in Gulfport, Miss. The casino is expected to create more than 450 new jobs when it opens.
Rotate Black plans to initially dock a 240 foot by 65 foot gaming vessel at the site, which was previously home of Marine Life Aquarium and Misco Marine. Future plans call for the development of a land-based resort and casino.
“While the ship is an attractive, first-class facility, we hope to expand what we have to offer through future development,” said President Dual Cooper in a press release.
The project is expected to be completed by this fall, pending approval by the Mississippi Gaming Commission.
Rotate Black focuses on acquiring distressed properties and leveraging its gaming and turnaround experience to accelerate revenue growth and return the properties to long-term profitability. The company has developed over 60 casinos and hotel/resorts.
What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
