Stoughton Trailers Adding 300 Jobs in Wisconsin

Stoughton Trailers LLC, the fifth-largest trailer manufacturer in North America, said it will add more than 300 employees to its payroll by the end of the year.

Company officials cited an improving market for its products as the catalyst for the new jobs. More than 500 laid-off Stoughton Trailer employees have been notified they may be brought back. Some of the open jobs will also be filled by new employees, reports wkow-tv.com.

Stoughton Trailer is headquartered in Stoughton, Wisc. and has been locally owned and operated for almost 50 years. It offers products including over-the-road vans, convertible dollies, platform trailers and grain haulers.
