An airplane parts maker based in Kansas City plans to construct a new facility in Washington, Mo. that will eventually employ 220 workers.
The St. Louis Business Journal reports Tech Aerospace Group will spend $17.5 million for a 75,000-square-foot facility that will immediately employ 100 workers with an annual average salary of $40,000. To help fund construction, the company is asking for $1.75 million in tax-exempt Build Missouri bonds from the state. The proposal will be taken under consideration by the Missouri Development Finance Board next week.
