A new call center is coming to Evans, Colo. that will provide 500 jobs. The Greeley Tribune reports Afni Inc., a call-center firm that provides customer service to businesses, is adding the facility and will begin hiring immediately.
According to the report, the majority of jobs will be for entry-level call representatives with a starting rate of $9.50 an hour that includes opportunities for incentives. Hiring is set to begin immediately with about 250 jobs set to go live by early December. A job fair at the Evans site is set for Tuesday at 3801 8th Ave. in northeast Evans.
The remainder of jobs will be filled by February 2011, Afni Human Resources Director David Usrey told the paper. Those positions include 25 front-line supervisors as well as jobs in human resources, information technology, quality control and operations.
Afni, which has an overall workforce of about 5,000, also has operations in Alabama, Illinois, Kentucky, Florida and Texas.
