Dell Plant Closing in N.C.

The company that provides security for the Dell plant in Forsyth County, North Carolina, has notified the state that 59 of their employees will be laid off.
The Atlanta-based Secur America is the company responsible for hiring both the full- and part-time employees on a contract basis.
It was announced last October that the manufacturing facility would be closing within the next five years. After adjusting the closing date several times, Dell has officially decided on mid-November to be the closing time period for the plant. The closing affects a total of 900 employees.
