Governor of Kentucky Steve Beshear meet with Toyo Seat USA in Flemingsburg yesterday to announce the investment of more than $4.7 million and subsequently the creation of 33 new jobs.
“Kentucky is once again pleased to support the growth of one of our existing automotive suppliers,” said Beshear. “Toyo Seat is a longstanding corporate citizen and its presence and success not only provides valuable jobs for the Flemingsburg community, but helps to further enhance the Commonwealth’s position as a prime destination for automotive-related industries.”
Toyo Seat is a manufacturer of automotive seats and seat parts and has been operating in Flemingsburg since 1995. A new production line is being added to enable seats for the Honda Odyssey minivan to be built.
