Plastics Plant in North Baltimore to Layoff 187

A plant owned by Continental Structural Plastics in North Baltimore, Ohio will begin laying off workers this week, cutting the size of their staff in half by the end of the process.
A total of 187 union and non-union workers will be affected by this round of layoffs, losing their jobs permanently.
The director of operations will be distributing pink slips in batches, and the layoffs are expected to take until March of 2011 to complete.
The company has been in operation for close to 30 years and is a supplier of molded injection components for the automotive industry.
