Layoff News
The entire waitstaff at Good Pastures Restaurant in Grand Junction, Colorado was laid off, leading to a protest last Sunday morning.
The staff described the managements decision as insensitive, some 120 years of collective experience being replaced with a new group that they trained themselves.
“We were under the impression that we were going to keep our jobs because we had to re-apply and they accepted us and then a week later I’m fired,” said former wait staff member Stephanie Nasshahn.
Several customers joined the former wait staff, wanting to both say their goodbyes and show their support.
