Avgol, an Israeli fabrics manufacturer, is bringing 42 new jobs to Davie County, North Carolina.
The company recently announced that it would be investing $35 million over the next three years into its Davie County space. The company, which manufactures lightweight and nonwoven fabrics, received an $84,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund to be put towards expanding its Mocksville plant. That plant currently has 132 employees.
Wages will be good for the new jobs, too. The average salary of the new positions will be $33,629.
CEO of Avgol gave a statement, saying, “Our customers continue to challenge us for more unique and onnovative products that are cost effective. We have been able to meet those challenges over the past 10 years. This has hastened our growth in Mocksville.”
