Jami Closes Texas Plant, Creating 85 Jobs in Indiana By Erik Even | Dated: 02-16-2009

Jami Incorporated of Middlebury, Indiana is bringing 85 new jobs to Elkhart County over the next two years.

Furniture-maker Jami was offered a tax phase-in program by the Economic Development Corporation of Elkhart County, if they kept their business open in Middlebury. So Jami is closing their plant in Texas and bringing new, much needed jobs to Elkhart County.

Jami is just one of many companies the ECD hopes to keep in the county with special incentives.
