ADP Releases February Jobs Report; Private Sector Adds 217,000 Jobs

The private payroll firm Automatic Data Processing Inc., released a jobs report on Wednesday showing that private-sector employers added 217,000 jobs to their ranks in the month of Feburary.

According to the reports, most of those jobs came from small and medium-sized businesses, which added just over 200,000 jobs. Larger added only 13,000 jobs to the market in the same period.

202,000 of those newly created jobs came from the service industry, an industry that has seen jobs increase for 13 consecutive months.
