Gartner Brining 400 IT Jobs to Florida

Gartner Inc, a Connecticut based IT research and advisory company, is opening a new facility in Lee County, Florida. Over 400 jobs will be created in the next five years, buoyed by up to $4.2 Million in state and local incentives. The jobs will be in sales, client services and finance according to the company. Most of the hiring will begin later this year but the company has already begun filling some open sales positions.
Gartner’s second largest US office is already in Lee County, with about 350 employees. Globally the company employs 4300 people.
