Cedar Point is looking to hire 4,500 people to fill various jobs at the theme park during the 2009 operating season.
Cedar Point is a 364-acre amusement park located in Sandusky, Ohio on a narrow peninsula jutting into Lake Erie. It currently holds the world record for most roller coasters (17), one of which, Top Thrill Dragster, is the world’s second tallest and third fastest roller coaster.
Applicants must complete an online application before attending the interviews.
Available positions include: ride operators, food service attendants, merchandise and game associates, marina dockhand, lifeguard, admissions employee, parking/tolls attendant and room attendants.
The park says many of the jobs at Cedar Point will qualify for college credit for an internship at many schools in such fields as Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Recreation, Marketing, Communications, Finance, and Human Resources to name a few.
Cedar Point offers low cost housing to employees who are at least 18 years or older and live more than 25 miles from the park.
