Amazon Doesn’t Get a Tax Break, Stops Plans for Hiring in SC

South Carolina refused to give Amazon a tax break, so Amazon cancelled it’s plans for a distribution center in Lexington county. Amazon had promised 1,250 jobs to Lexington county at their distribution center that is now cancelled. Residents of Lexington county are now back where they started in their fight for more jobs.
