The First Niagara Bank held a news conference on May 2 announcing that 500 new jobs will be added to the Buffalo, NY, area over the next five years. The bank is getting federal and state tax credits to help it fund its growth plans. The average wages for the positions are $78,000 per year, so there are many opportunities for qualified applicants.
