Gambling Addiction Programs in Nevada to Lose a Big Portion of Funding

The State of Nevada is going to cut funding for programs for gambling addiction. Each year, Nevada places $2 from each slot machine into a fund for prevention and treatment of gambling addiction. However, the state has had to use part of the money to support the rest of the budget. Nevada will spend only $448,000 on treatment for gambling addiction this year.
