Up to 250 to be Laid Off by Bath Iron Works in Maine

Bath Iron Works has notified one of its unions, Bath Marine Draftsmen’s Association about the upcoming layoffs which plan to cut a total of 250 jobs in the shipyard. The layoffs are resulting because of the order of 285 ships placed by the Navy which was far less than the minimum 313 ships mark which was set by the Navy itself.
