Award winning school employee loses job in layoffs

Employee of the year winner at Eden Gardens Elementary school, Lisa Doyal found herself in great shock when her name appeared among the other 160 other Caddo school system employees who lost their jobs in the recent layoffs because of budget cuts. The other co-worker Susan Foley who also lost her job said that the layoffs have nothing to do with your success or evaluation as an employee. It all depends upon your experience because in such cases seniority takes precedence.
