Economy improves after hitting a slump

The latest data indicate, the American economy may be improving. The layoffs have decreased and the applications for unemployment benefits have fell to a seasonally adjusted 414,000. The Home construction rate increased last month to a seasonally adjusted rate of 560,000 units per year. Economists are of the opinion, that this signals improvement in job market at a very slow pace.
