Kent, Washington Food Company to Layoff 75 Workers

The Washington state Employment Security Department has announced that about 75 workers will be laid off from a food and catering company based in California. Monterey Gourmet Foods has about 350 employees in its Kent and Salinas outlets and is going to close its 93,000 square foot facility at Kent which has prompted its management to lay off 75 workers, The Seattle Times reports.
