Logan high schools has fired many part time teachers due to their financial crisis.Hearing this the students and the alumni all joined the Facebook event to support the school.Liz Mott a AP calculus teacher who worked part time for the school for around 12 years was also fired.She was a good teacher, who inspired a lot of students and students from her class had a 93% pass rate.Parents are all frightened as their wards could loose a great teacher.The management said that full time employees were preferred over part time employees and also 4 full time employees were also fired.Parents were worried about the lack of a good AP calculus teacher due to layoff of Mott, because she was the only one. One of the agitated parents told she would remove her child from the school if the child’s results go down.In the meeting where all school students gathered Marshal Garret said it was hard to loose staff from the family and many of them inspired the students a lot for many years.
