Pay cuts to prevent layoffs at NACS

Northwest Allen County Schools have come up with a novel way of avoiding additional employee lay offs this year despite a reduction in State funding.Members of their staff have agreed to a 3% reduction in pay.They will not receive any other increments either based on their performance.The Superintendent Chris Himsel said that due to this step there would not be any more lay offs in the future.
