Barclays Hiring 500 in Delaware

Barclaycard is opening a customer contact center in Newark, Delaware, and will hire 300 new employees by early April.
Governor Jack Markell says the company could hire as many as 500 employees at its new facility in the next five years.
Barclaycard is one of the 10 largest bankcard issuers in America, after doubling its portfolio in the last two years.
Delaware Economic Development Office Director Alan Levin says the company boosts the state’s economy by $67.5 million.
