Teachers to be laidoff in West Ottawa

Administrators in the West Ottawa school district will have to layoff teachers even in the best-case scenario due to a strapped economy. The district is looking to cut teachers from the elementary and middle schools in the district, there will be no cuts at the high school. The district needs to cut expenses and will hold a vote on June 15th to decide on how much cuts will be needed.
