Oil Industry Claims that if Allowed to Drill More, 1.4 Million New Jobs Will Follow

Today the oil industry said that if it was allowed to drill off of the East and West Coast and several other locations where it’s not currently allowed to drill, it would be able to hire 1.4 million new workers to fill the positions required. It would also need to build new pipelines, which it would need approval for. There are of course many pros and cons to allowing them to drill in new locations.
