Cleveland Schools Chief Tries To Avoid 300 Teacher Layoffs

The Cleveland Ohio school district is in serious financial trouble and is trying to cut costs any way it can. The district is cutting costs in all the standard places such as books and buses but is also looking at other possibilities like cutting teachers. But many believe that the teachers jobs can be saved though, through careful budgeting and restructuring.
