States With the Highest Jobless Rate

For the people of Nevada, and the 25 other states suffering an increase in unemployment rates, the employment situation in the US remains in crisis. Statistics just released show rates unchanged in the remaining states, a clear indication that the labour market has failed to improve, despite hopes of an upturn earlier in the year. Government cutbacks and the continued difficulties of the housing market are not likely to spread encouragement in the coming months.
