Social entertainment major Hi5 confirmed that major revamp is going inside Hi5 technically and manually. Hi5 president/CTO Alex St.John confirmed that they are able to significantly reduce the number of positions required to support the Hi5 site. Hi5 which receives nearly 50 million unique a month and once third behind Facebook and MySpace is pivoting towards next generation version of Hi5, which requires less manpower. There are confirmed reports that already 28 employees were let go by Hi5.
