Market Boosted by Rays of Hope

The US economy will not likely experience a double-dip recession, although it’s still early to be sure. Economists at Goldman Sachs and Macroeconomic Advisers have currently raised their forecast for third-quarter growth from about 2 percent to 2.5 percent, which is a marked improvement over the second quarter’s 1.3 percent. American stocks saw massive gains after European leaders pledged to tackle the local financial crisis.
