Watson & Chalin Will Cut 42 Texas Jobs By Erik Even | Dated: 03-02-2009

Watson & Chalin, a North Texas manufacturer of auxiliary truck suspensions, plans to lay off up to 42 employees at the company’s two McKinney facilities.

The McKinney-based manufacturer will reduce the number of employees working at its suspension plants.

Watson & Chalin said if business conditions decline, more cuts could be necessary.

The staff cuts are temporary, and staffers could be asked to return to work as business and demand warrant it.

The impacted positions are expected to be furloughed in May.
