Arvest Ballpark Hosts Summer Job Fair

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals baseball team held a job fair Saturday for part-time summer positions, and 300 people waited in line at Arvest Ballpark Saturday to fill out an application and give an interview.

There are only 75 to 100 part-time jobs available, positions ranging from ushers to ticket scanners.

Ballpark officials have seen more laid-off workers than they did last year.

Decision letters will be mailed in the next two weeks.

Arvest Ballpark officials will continue to take applications until the start of the season, but those who attended the job fair Saturday will get priority.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are a Minor League Baseball team based in Springdale, Arkansas. The team is member of the Texas League, and serves as the Double-A affiliate to the Kansas City Royals
