Bausch & Lomb to Cut 300 Jobs

Bausch & Lomb is cutting more than 300 jobs globally, many from their plant in India, which is shutting down.An undisclosed number of jobs are being cut at the Rochester, New York headquarters.
Founded in 1853, Bausch & Lomb is one of the world’s leading suppliers of eye health products, such as contact lenses and lens care products. Bausch & Lomb became well known because of its famous Ray-Ban brand of sunglasses, which was sold in 1999. The company employs about 13,000 people in 36 countries.
